  1. All the help files are wrtten in the SGML variant used by
  2. the LDP team (Linux Documentation Project). They use it for
  3. HOWTOs especially.

  5. This format is especially convenient because it allows one to
  6. write help files which can be translated in HTML and ascii TEXT.

  8. The output look good in pure text and it is expected that the
  9. output will be appealing when the graphical (GUI) version
  10. of Linuxconf will be available.

  12. If you are not familiar with sgml, you can still patch the *.help
  13. file and send me the modification. I will incorporate them in the
  14. SGML.

  16. Just remember that the SGML is the original.

  20. Since most people do not have the Linuxdoc package, "make clean"
  21. does not remove the *.help files nor the *.html.
